Refund Policy
How refunds and credits work for per-script plans, unused volume and cancelled exam sessions.
Free exam first
Every institution can run one exam of up to 500 scripts free before paying, so that examiners and staff can judge the platform on real booklets.
Unused committed scripts
Annual plans are billed for a committed number of scripts. Unused scripts at the end of the term are carried forward once to the next annual term, provided the plan is renewed.
Cancelled or postponed exams
If an exam is cancelled or postponed by the institution or a competent authority before scanning begins, the scripts for that exam remain available as credit. No scripts are deducted for booklets that were never scanned.
Service failures
If evaluation for an exam is delayed by more than three working days because of a failure on our side, the institution receives a credit of 10% of the fees for that exam session, and up to 100% where the session could not be completed.
Refund within 30 days
An institution that cancels a new annual plan within 30 days of payment, before any paid scripts are evaluated, receives a full refund less any third-party costs already incurred, such as barcode stickers or scanning partner visits.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original paying account within 15 working days of approval.
Requests
Refund and credit requests can be sent from the Exam Cell page with your institution name and invoice number.
